HCBBO Foundation

The transformation of anything comes through real unity of purpose among those who matter. It came to our HCBBO Foundation when the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami lends support to our vision for the transformation of our communities through Education, Entrepreneurship, and social development.
It’s a huge boost to a nascent foundation with huge compassion and love for her people. It means our mission is recognized and the impact we intend to create is acknowledged.

Why This Support Matters

At HCBBO Foundation, our work is simple. We want to make sure brilliant students don’t drop out because their families cannot afford school fees. We want to help hardworking women and local artisans who have the skill but lack the capital to grow.

This support from the Deputy Governor is more than an endorsement. It is a reminder that government, private individuals, and NGOs can work together to solve real problems in our communities.

What HCBBO Foundation Stands For

HCBBO Foundation, also known as High Chiefs Bode and Betty Osedimilehin Foundation, was founded by High Chief Dr. Olabode Samson Osedimilehin, the Basegun of Owo Kingdom, and his wife, High Chief Mrs. Oluwatoyin Elizabeth Osedimilehin, the Yeye Basegun of Owo Kingdom.

We founded this foundation to eliminate the distance between the difficulties of life and the availability of opportunity.

We offer financial scholarships to bright children from disadvantaged communities and help women entrepreneurs and artisans, who face difficulties in launching their enterprises sustainably.

We operate under the conviction that poverty cannot be a barrier to a child’s education, just as it cannot be a barrier to the success of a women-led business.

From First Scholarship to Bigger Vision

Our first scholarship program targeting students from impoverished backgrounds took place in April 2024. Our inaugural program and a first of its kind that paves the way for more.

In subsequent months, our organization has initiated several more programs under four key pillars:Education, Youth Empowerment, women empowerment, and Community Transformation which encompass school supplies distribution, mentoring, vocational training, micro-granting, financial Literacy for small businesses.

To help ensure we always do the right thing The founders promise that each donation is fully transparent and accountable and helps those who truly deserve it.

Looking Ahead: We Need More Hands

We also are thankful for the encouragement from the Deputy Governor of Nigeria, but our work is not yet done. There are still thousands of students awaiting sponsorships.

There are still thousands of women and local artisans who need assistance to scale their operations. With more partners, sponsors, and individual donations we will be able to impact even more students, provide support to more women in business and grow more local artisans in Nigeria.
