HCBBO Foundation

Education isn’t just about being taught in a room. It’s the gateway and to life, the power given to the youth of today, in order to have a better future.

In 2025, the High Chiefs Bode and Betty Osedimilehin (HCBBO) Foundation stayed true to this belief by sponsoring the JAMB registration for 400 deserving students across Owo, Ose, and Akure in Ondo State.

The cost of registration for JAMB is a major hurdle for numerous families. The Foundation stepped up in order to provide a framework where finances could no longer prevent bright and high-aspiring students from achieving their life-long ambition of college education.

Removing Barriers, Supporting Dreams

Every university journey starts with JAMB. But for students from low-income and disadvantaged backgrounds, that first step can be the hardest.

By covering the full JAMB registration cost for 400 students, the HCBBO Foundation removed that hurdle and gave these young people a fair chance to compete for admission into tertiary institutions.

This program is also one facet of the foundation’s broader vision which is rooted on education, youth empowerment and community development.

In that case, this is also a way the foundation has kept on its pledge right from its first scholarship edition which was held in the year 2024 to make students and families in Ondo State have reasons to smile.

More Than Just Registration

This support is more than just paying a fee. It is an investment in ambition, talent, and potential.

Each of the 400 students supported represents a dream to become a doctor, teacher, engineer, lawyer, and future leader. By investing in their education, the HCBBO Foundation is helping to build a more skilled, educated, and self-reliant generation that will give back to their communities.

The Foundation’s impact continues to grow through its various programmes, which include:

  • Full and partial scholarships
  • Bursary support for students in tertiary institutions
  • JAMB and educational assistance for secondary school leavers

A Commitment to the Future

Supporting 400 students in 2025 is another milestone in the HCBBO Foundation’s journey of transforming lives through education.

As it expands its scholarship and empowerment programmes, the Foundation remains focused on one clear vision: that every young person, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a meaningful future.

HCBBO Foundation – Supporting Education. Empowering Lives. Building Futures.
