HCBBO Foundation is born out of a deep passion to give back to society. Founded by High Chief Dr. Olabode Samson Osedimilehin, the Basegun of Owo Kingdom, and his wife, High Chief Mrs. Oluwatoyin Elizabeth Osedimilehin, the Yeye Basegun of Owo Kingdom, the foundation was incorporated to bridge one critical gap: the gap between financial hardship and opportunity.
At HCBBO Foundation, we believe money should never be a barrier that stops a brilliant child from learning, a hardworking woman from growing her business, or a skilled artisan from earning optimally.
Our philosophy is simple: “The best way to teach you how to give is to give to you and by this, the impact of financial burdens will drastically be reduced in our community.”

To empower students, women and artisans from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their educational and entrepreneurship goals, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty.
Our Mission
At HCBBO Foundation, our mission is practical and people-focused:
1. To raise funds for educational excellence: To support charitable contributions that enrich the education of students in public primary, secondary, and technical colleges whose parents cannot afford tuition, books, uniforms and study materials.
2. To strengthen youths and inspire women: To engage the community in charity giving that strengthens our youths academically and inspires our women.
3. To support women and artisans to be innovative: To empower women with little or low business capital and artisans who have financial difficulties in boosting their trades for optimal incomes.
4. To inspire excellence: To inspire both students and teachers to strive for academic and entrepreneurial excellence.
5. To lead with transparency: To be honest and transparent in all our operations.

What HCBBO Foundation Does: Our 3 Core Pillars
1. HCBBO Education Scholarship
Our flagship program. In April 2024, we launched our maiden edition of the HCBBO Scholarship Award, and many students’ dreams took flight.
We focus on indigent students in public schools – brilliant children whose parents are financially incapable. We cover the real costs that stop them from learning: tuition support, books, uniforms, and other essential study materials.
We are not just paying fees; we are keeping a child in the classroom.
2. HCBBO Women Empowerment
We empower women with little or no business capital. Many women in our communities have the skill and drive but lack the small capital to start or sustain a business.
HCBBO Foundation provides business support, mentorship, and encouragement to help them become innovative, creative, and financially independent.
3. HCBBO Artisan Empowerment
Nigeria is built on the hands of artisans. But many artisans face financial difficulties that prevent them from boosting their trades.
Through strategic empowerment, community partnerships, and volunteer support, we help artisans stabilize, improve their craft, and increase their incomes.

Since our inaugural scholarship program in April 2024, HCBBO Foundation has been committed to turning promises into impact:
- Students from low-income families have received direct educational support.

This is just the beginning. Our upcoming campaigns include scholarship outreach expansion and large-scale women and artisan empowerment drives, including our association with cultural platforms like the Olojo Festival to support our 2026 Scholarship Expansion.
